Easter Blessings
As the deep Purple sunrise comes across the sky
Easter Morning is here and it makes me cry
This Holiday is sacred, the Resurrection of the King
Even in Heaven the Angles do preciously sing
This holiday has been commercialized, do you really see
A Parade in New York City, Egg Hunts with Baskets will be
The Children chasing Rabbits and eating Jelly Beans
Marshmallow chickens and expensive Bonnets by all means
Praising the Savior is what I will always do
The Inflatable sensations of the world holds so true
Jesus told us that, in every thing He did and said
The world then took Him and crucified him dead
So on this Easter Morning remember our Jesus Christ
Dresses might be pretty, yet they are quite so over priced
